A warm welcome in a family home.

We have a large double, newly-decorated room available in our busy, professional, unconventional household. Spacious house, so plenty of room for everyone.
The west-facing room has a double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair and chest of drawers. It overlooks the back garden and woodland beyond, so lots of bird-life and wildlife to see! All bedding and towels supplied and laundered weekly. New washing machine and tumble dryer available in utility room.
Modern shower-room/toilet shared with others, but we (owners) have an en-suite.
The house is situated in a small, quiet cul-de-sac, with friendly neighbours. We are close to AWE, swimming pool, golf, gym and Pamber Forest. Driveway parking. Excellent driving to M3 and M4. Newbury, Basingstoke and Reading each approx 12 miles.

We employ a cleaner on a fortnightly basis.
Lodger would have own fridge space and food storage, but would share other kitchen facilities. Large newly-fitted kitchen (but no microwave) with dual-fuel range. Modern decor to rest of house. Sky internet, Sky sports, piano, log stove, central heating, gardens, allotment...
We prefer a Monday to Friday lodger, but a stayover on occasional weekends is fine by arrangement. Rent to be adjusted for longer/shorter stays.
We have two dogs and a cat; none are permitted upstairs.(Cat ignores this instruction on a regular basis...) Dogs not permitted on ANY furniture.
Our last lodger came for a few weeks, and stayed for 9 months...
