Mon-Fri: Quiet Double Room overlooking the garden

WEEKDAYS ONLY - This room is for MONDAY TO FRIDAY. From January 2025

If you are looking for ad-hoc or regular weekday accommodation in Winchester, and would prefer an affordable home from home environment , rather than an impersonal hotel/B&B, this could be just for you.

My spare room is a furnished double for single occupancy.

Bed linen, duvet and bath towels can be provided.

Shared kitchen - where there is always tea and coffee available.

If you need flexibility, for example the room for just one or two regular night that's fine - I’m open to reducing rent accordingly. .

The room is quiet looks onto the back of the house - and garden.

Bathroom (shared) is kept clean, has powerful shower and bath, and there is an extra downstairs toilet/cloakroom.

In terms of facilities; dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and access to wireless internet access are all here. I have Freeview for TV but no Sky or similar.

I‘ve had several great "spare room" lodgers. Most working on freelance contract
based at Arquiva or IBM or the Hospital . Now seeking another considerate lodger who will respect and take care of my home and belongings.

I’m friendly, easy going, sociable person, respectful of others privacy and belongings.

Parking plentiful ( free from 4pm ) on the street. There are bus stops near by, 20 minutes walk to the railway station , 10 -15 minutes drive to RHCH (subject to traffic!) and 5 mins walk to row of shops including Waitrose, Aldi, Spar, Costa and a good curry house. If you need to park during the day there are separate parking charges - annual permits approx £70

I like to spend time relaxing at the weekend, chilling out, or being busy with various things. I enjoy radio and cinema, other interests include travel, enjoying the outdoors, sailing, gardening, skiing, cycling, travel, good food and wine.

If you wanted to take the room, I'd be looking for references - one from your employer and one from your previous or present address.
