Single room in friendly shared house

10-15 minutes walk from station. Approx 30 minutes from London and Cambridge. Quiet street and beautiful leafy shared back garden.

This cosy room is tastefully decorated and has a lovely view over a beautiful rear garden. It contains a comfortable single bed and has large under bed storage drawers, a large wardrobe, lamp, bedside table and TV. The mattress is so comfortable I purchased the same one for my own bed.

There is a combined kitchen / lounge / diner which contains a large comfy sofa, flat screen TV, dining table and tub chair. We have an induction hob and double oven, large American fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. This all-in-one room gives the home a friendly sociable feel.

Over the past few years, I have accommodated lodgers who enjoy their own company as well as those who are more extroverted. The household is happy and harmonious and over lockdown we've had lots of fun with a Come dine with me contest and film nights. All previous lodgers have enjoyed sharing and many still keep in touch.

I run a small teaching business partly from home and so the main living room is private and doubles up as my office. Although this has resulted in the shared lounge / kitchen / diner, it has the advantage that I am often around to look after things and accept parcels etc.

Unfortunately the room is not suitable for someone needing to work from home.
