I have a double bedroom in my house in the Monkswood area in Stevenage. The house offers great access by foot to the train station, A1(M) and companies like GSK, MBDA and Airbus, together with the Roaring Meg shops and centre of town amenities. The house also backs on to attractive woods and the greens of Fairlands Valley, leading on to the Stevenage lakes.

The house has been entirely modernised and includes a living room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large garden and outhouse (just enough room to store a bike!). There are 2 further bedrooms occupied by myself and one other housemate.

The room is bright, fully furnished and rent includes all bills, council tax, fast Virgin fibre-optic broadband (200Mb) and Virgin TV.

Parking is available on the street and on the nearby street.(sometimes the parking space in front of our garage can be used).

I am looking for a young, male professional. Must be clean and tidy!

Although both of us quite like our space, we’re always up for a chat and laugh and would like someone who doesn’t retreat to their room the moment they walk through the door! :-)
