We have a double bedroom available to rent in our spacious well appointed victorian house on Carisbrooke Road. The house is fully furnished. The room has a comfortable double bed, two built in wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a bedside tables, a chair and a basin. The room overlooks an attractive tranquil garden with a stream, and woodland beyond.

Shared areas: There is an upstairs bathroom, recently renovated, with a bath, separate shower, and a loo. There is a big farmhouse kitchen/dining room with an Aga as well as gas hob and electric oven, a microwave and dishwasher, and fridge and freezer space. French windows open onto a patio with a table and chairs for sitting/eating outdoors. This overlooks the attractive and tranquil back garden, which has a running stream. There is a big sitting room with comfortable leather sofas and TV & DVD player. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine & drying facilities, and an additional downstairs loo. Super fast wi-fi is included. An off road parking space is available.

There are three other tenants currently living in the house, all in their twenties, all nice friendly women.

The house is 2 minutes walk from the local Carisbrooke Co-op convenience store, and is close to Newport - 2 minutes by car, 5 minutes by bicycle or a 10 minute walk. We are situated very close to picturesque Carisbrooke Castle. There are excellent walking/running/cycling/mounta in biking routes from the doorstep.

As landlords, we live next door. We are a friendly professional couple. We are looking for a mature professional person to share the house. Rent is £440 pcm which includes all bills, including weekly cleaning of the communal areas.
