The room is downstairs in a detached house at the Lake end of Shanklin. There is ample parking on the road outside, enough extra space on the drive for a motorbike. The number 2 bus (Ventnor - Newport) comes down this road, and the number 3 ( Newport - Ryde) on the road parallel, approx 7 mins walk away. 10 - 15 minutes walk into town or 10 mins to the cliff path and beach. Local 'Welcome' shop only 7 houses away.
The room is double glazed, centrally heated and fully furnished with a single bed, two seater settee, clothes hanging rail, storage cupboards, bedding etc. It's double sized but currently has a single bed in it. A double bed could fit on removal of the settee with a chair in it's place instead.
We have animals: 2 young boisterous large breed dogs, 1 cat, an aviary of birds and a fish pond so you really must like animals! Especially cats and dogs as they live inside the house! The rent includes gas, electricity, water, council tax, wireless broadband, use of washing machine, own fridge and freezer, own cupboard in kitchen. Share garden, kitchen, bathroom (modern bathroom with a corner bath and shower over and a toilet) and downstairs toilet also.
Ideally, due to my having a child at home and others visiting often, i'd like someone with a recent enhanced CRB certificate or willing to have one done.
Ideally i'd also like a lodger who's working and reliable with paying rent.
Deposit and checkable references required. A lodgers agreement will be signed.
