Lovely recently refurbished detached house in quiet road located in Central Ashford.

Just 10 minutes’ walk to Ashford International station, 5 minutes to the town centre. The William Harvey Hospital / M20 is under 5 minutes by car, with a bus stop for the hospital at the bottom of the road.

The room to rent is a furnished double room. A double bed, bedside cabinet and wadrobe is provided although other furniture can be added. The room measures 11ft X 9ft.

The house is clean and tidy. There is a 40-inch TV (BT TV & Sports, wireless broadband) in the living room, a small dining room looking out on to the garden. Washing machine/spin dryer. There is a third bedroom which is used as a spare/TV room - this can be used if you have guests. The garden is extremely pleasant to relax in (currently re-modelling the garden)

You will be sharing with a very laid-back landlord who respects people's privacy. All bills are included and there is a parking space provided.

Unfortunately, I will only accept those who are in full-time employment, so no DSS.

Unlike many house shares in Ashford, you won't be sharing with 3 or 4 other strangers, mother and daughter, 2 dogs and 3 cats etc etc. Believe you me, I've lived in many house shares and the more the people in a house, the more the problems!

I work long hours in London and on my days off I am often out, so you will have the house to yourself a lot of the time. And, if you are watching TV in the living room, I will go to my bedroom or spare room as I very much want the lodger to see the house as theirs as well. Yes, there may be some house shares where the rooms will be a little bigger but you cannot put a price on privacy!

A months deposit will be required.
