Very large furnished single room in a spacious, renovated, clean, centrally heated Victorian family home in a quiet road close to the seafront on Ramsgate's East Cliff.

The centre of town with its shops, bars, cafes, beaches, restaurants (and excellent Waitrose!) is five minutes' walk away. There are sea views from the front of the house. There is unrestricted on street parking outside the house, with plenty of spaces usually available. Ramsgate station is less than five minutes' drive away, with regular high speed trains to London St Pancras taking just over an hour.

The room is on the third floor at the back of the house and comes with a single bed, table and chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is plenty of space if you have additional furniture.

The house is set over four levels, there is a well equipped, modern kitchen with a Smeg six burner hob and fan assisted oven, microwave and granite surfaces, a large dining area with table and chairs, a utility room with washer/dryer and large fridge/freezer, and a spacious living room with plenty of comfortable seating and a 42 inch HD TV. There are stripped pine floors throughout the common areas.

At the back of the property is a pleasant garden with patio and seating area, as well as a washing line for drying.

You will have use of a large, renovated bathroom with separate WC. We live in the house and have another bathroom for our own use.

Rent is a calendar month in advance, and includes reasonable use of utilities and wifi. We will require you to sign a lodger's agreement. We prefer a minimum stay of 3 months, but have no upper limit. The deposit is £200, which is returnable at the end of your stay, less reasonable expenses for any admin, cleaning and repairs. We can provide bed linen for a small extra cost if required.
