Would you like to live in a large bright double room in a Victorian house in Lancaster? If you are a student you could reserve a room for the coming academic year.

The house is near Williamson Park and Lancaster City Centre is about 10 minutes’ walk away. There are also local shops and other resources nearby including a chemist, food takeaways, grocery shops and the Gregson Community and Arts Centre.

The bedroom is on the first floor and overlooks the rear garden. It has a comfortable double bed, a table/desk, chair, shelves, a small built in wardrobe, central heating radiator, fitted carpet and a sofa. It is approximately 12' x 12' in size.

There is a shared bathroom with a bath / shower on the first floor. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.

You will also have use of the dining kitchen, utility room, washing machine, cooker and fridge.

There is a large garden to the rear of the house.

I am looking for lodgers who are considerate, friendly, quiet and tidy and who are respectful of the fact that this is my permanent home. I prefer vegetarians.

I am a graduate of Lancaster University and have a degree and a PhD in ecology. My hobbies include singing, dancing and gardening. I have two friendly cats. I can be quite flexible to suit your situation.

Bedding and towels can also be available if required.

For short term lets of under three months, I have a sliding scale of charges. The rent includes morning and evening heating only. There would be a surcharge for extra heating outside these times.
