Pillows, duvet, sheets and bath towels are available if required.

A washing machine, laundry airer, ironing board and iron are also available.

The household is managed ecologically and we are looking for lodgers who are happy to reduce their plastic use, recycle, compost their organic kitchen waste and reduce their use of electricity, gas and water.

Organic milk is available on delivery from the local milkman.

The garden has many fruit trees and bushes. Ideally new lodgers would take an interest in the garden and enjoy some of the harvests.

- The nearest bus stop is at the corner of the road for the number 10 service from the city centre to The Ridge.

- It is a 15 minute walk for buses to Lancaster University or to Heysham and Morecambe. The University of Cumbria is 15 minutes' walk away, and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary is 20 minutes' walk.

- Lancaster rail station is 1. 5 miles (3 km) away and is a 25 minute walk.

- The house is close to the Gregson Community Centre and bistro.
