Double room on lovely cobbled street

I have a room to rent in my lovely Victorian terrace.

The house is on a beautiful and peaceful cobbled pedestrian only street which has a nice community feel to it. It is just off London road and only a few minutes walk to the train station, university, hospital and city centre.

The room is a double of medium size and is tastefully furnished. The house retains many of its original features; there is a cosy living room with an open fire and a large and very well equipped kitchen (I love to cook). The house has masses of character, is warm, tidy and has all the normal modern amenities, wireless internet etc

I’m friendly and enjoy a catch up over a cup of tea, but my working hours are long so this would suit someone considerate who also appreciates a peaceful home and a relaxing atmosphere. I also work away quite a lot so you would often have the place to yourself.

The house is strictly no smoking.

There is residents only street parking

The room is available from mid-August onwards and this can be flexable. I would also be happy with a Monday to Friday let for a reduced rate.
