Room in 2 bed home

I have a room available in a a 2 bed home near to the city centre. It is a double room and has a large desk and wardrobe. It is a standard second bedroom in a victorian terrace. The house has fast broadband and is very homely.

The house is close to the centre and only a short walk to town. I work near the university of leicester and often cycle to work which takes me 20/25mins as most of it is cycle path.

My favourite feature of the house is a bio-ethanol fireplace, so we can have a real fire without the smell! The house has 2 reception rooms and a large kitchen (for a terrace house). It has recently been done up, but the traditional features (such as the doors) have been kept. It has a small garden area with furniture. The kitchen has washing machine, nice cooker, microwave and coffee maker.

I am a 27 year old teacher, I work long hours so the house will be very quiet. Having said this, I am sociable and would love to get to know my new housemate.

I would prefer a short term renter and/or someone who only wants the room on weeknight but this isn't essential. I generally get a cleaner when I have a renter, but if you're happy to do this yourself then I will take the rent down to 300pcm.
