Double room in 2 bed W3 Acton/Ealing with garden

This double bedroom will be available from the end of January, we're looking in advance due to the Christmas period!

The flat is just off Churchfield Road just in Acton. It's the ground floor portion of a 1920s house and comes with a living room, kitchen, bathroom and an amazing private garden which is great in the summer. It has a patio area too with a table and chairs.

The room available is a good size double, it will come unfurnished (however there is the possibility that it can come with a bed and a mattress supplied if this is an issue for anyone).

There’s a large walk in cupboard under the stairs which gives added storage as well if you have extra bits to store.

The living room is pretty homely, original wooden floorboards are throughout the flat. There's a sofa, dining table, TV - with Sky TV & Broadband also.

There's a small kitchen with everyone you need in it - washing machine etc, and it opens up onto the garden so you can sit outside and eat in the summer.

Bathroom comes with a bath, shower, toilet - everything nice, clean and as you'd expect!

The monthly rent for the room is £600 and this needs to be paid for the 29th of each month, bills come in a week or two later.

Bills generally come in at around £90 a month each, sometimes this is less, depending on TV Licence.

This includes council tax, gas & electricity, water, Sky TV & Internet, TV licence and also the bill for the phone which is located in the living room.

Travel wise - It’s approximately 5-6 minutes walk from Acton Central Overground station and also Acton Park. Acton Town tube station is about 8 minutes walk away which has District and Piccadilly.

You can commute to Richmond/Kew/Shepherd's Bush within 15 minutes.

Bus stops are less than a minute's walk away and from there you can get a bus directly to Westfield & Shepherd's Bush in about 15 minutes. Chiswick is also about a 20/25 minute walk away also, or if you have a car, even closer.

The area is really nice, it’s not quite into Acton as such, more on the border. There’s the park, great transport links, Westfield is about 30 minutes walk away, or about 10 minutes on the 607, a large Morrison’s is around a minutes walk.

Gymwise there's three to chose from, all within walking distance of the flat, including a very large Virgin Active with pools, tennis courts and spa area.

I’m a 26 year old gay male who works in marketing and e-commerce, I usually work from around 7am till 7pm so mostly when I do get in from work I just want to crash out, cook and watch some TV. I like all of the usual stuff, movies, TV, socialising.

I’m tidy and considerate. When the winter comes round I’m more than happy spending my nights with food and the X-Factor. There’s a fair amount of pubs around the area too, which are great for socialising if you don’t want to head into central London on a weekend.

The street is permit parking only during the week days (I actually think the permit is only required for 2 hours of the day?) and then on an evening and weekend it’s just wherever you can find a space. I don't have a car, so this hasn't been used to be so far!

The flat has a really homely feel and I've been really happy here so far, it does feel like a home and not just a crash pad I think.

A deposit of £900 and a month's rent in advance of moving in will need to be paid. Our agency also charge a £114 fee for checking references which I think is pretty standard.
