Room to let Barnes, South-West London.

Available 1st April; double room to rent in a second floor flat share with two friendly professional girls; one Brit, one Aussie. We are looking for another female to fill our third double room. We enjoy sharing a meal together (and a good red!) and would love a sociable, happy person to join our midst!

A little about our fantastic flat: Overlooking the Thames the apartment is located in the centre of Barnes, on the high street, within a 3 minute walk to Barnes Bridge station that takes you directly to Waterloo or the bus stop that takes you directly into Hammersmith station for the District, Piccadilly and Hammersmith & City lines. From the flat the centre of London can be reached within 30 minutes. The flat has easy access to surrounding area including Richmond and Putney as well parking available outside the flat for permit holders.

The flat has a large light and sunny living room with a TV, DVD player, Virgin TV, broadband and phone line and we should be getting Sky soon. There is a very spacious shared bathroom which has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin, toilet and storage/hanging space. The kitchen is a good size with washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooker and plenty of cupboard space.

The flat also has two additional lockable storage spaces; one large shelved cupboard by the front door to the flat and another larger space located on the ground floor of the block.

Outdoor space includes a balcony accessed from the lounge that overlooks the Thames which gets the evening/afternoon sun furnished with a table and chairs, flowers and fairy lights, a lovely space to spend evenings after work/weekends. The flat also shares space at the back of the block with drying facilities and bike spaces.

Barnes is located in South West London on the river and has good transport links, great independent shops, a large variety of restaurants and bars, a choice of cafes and plenty of green space. It also has a great sense of community. Every Saturday there is a very popular farmers market selling local produce, organic fruit and veg and during the summer weekly craft/furniture stalls. Other local hotspots include the Wetland Centre, Barnes Elms Sports Centre and the newly opened two screen cinema with restaurant/cafe open all day.

The bedroom is a double room with wooden floors and is currently furnished with a double bed.

The room is available from the 1st of April 2017, but we may be able to negotiate an earlier date if required. We will be holding viewings ASAP so please get in touch and tell us a little bit about yourself.
