Single Short Term Room In Stunning Georgian House

We have a single room available for a short term let in a beautiful, listed Georgian town house on the prestigious Camberwell Grove in Camberwell. We are currently five people, all young professionals late 20s-mid 30s who are looking for one other person to join us.

Av. 1st Oct until either 1st Nov (1 month) or 1st Dec (2 months)

Please note that whilst the room is beautiful it is definitely on the small side and has a single bed.

We are currently 3 girls and 2 guys. We all get on very well and have a good family vibe. All easy going, friendly and fun but at the same time respectful towards one another. Not a party house but we enjoy cooking together, watching a film or having a natter. Enjoy having a BBQ in the garden come summertime.

The house is very large, bright and full of character. It is furnished throughout with vintage leather sofas and charming furniture. Most floorboards are original wooden and all the windows are beautiful sash windows.

There is a large open plan kitchen and dining room/ lounge which will be available to all as well as a large garden which gets the sun most of the day during the warmer months. There is a shared utility room with washer and dryer, space to store a bike and garden furniture outside.

The rent for this room is 550. Prices DO NOT INCLUDE bills which are anywhere between would be between £40-70 a month (usually more like £50) which includes a cleaner who comes weekly to clean the communal areas.

NO STUDENTS PLEASE. Please don't take offense we've been students too and lived with students but just want other young professionals to join us at this time.

The house is on 4 floors and the available room is on the first floor. There is a shared bathroom (3 bathrooms total), wooden floorboards in the room and lots of open storage units on the wall.

We want to keep the place clean and tidy. If this doesn't sound like you please don't get in touch. Sorry!

Our preference is to find someone as soon as possible. Move in date is going to be discussed but is likely to be 1st September. If you are interested we'd love to hear from you.

With the long awaited East London line the transport links are excellent including;

Overland Trains from Denmark Hill (can use Oyster card, 8 minute walk from house to station);
- 25minutes from door to Shoreditch High Street
- 12 minutes from door to Victoria
- 17 minutes from door to Farringdon

Buses From Camberwell Green (2 minute walk from the house):
- 15 minute bus journey to Elephant & Castle tube
- 20 minute bus journey to Waterloo
- 20-30 minute bus journey to Parliament Square (Big Ben, Houses of Parliament) and
Trafalgar Square
- 30-35 minute bus journey to Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Soho
- 20-25 minute bus journey to London Bridge, Borough (market) and Tower Bridge
- 25-30 minute bus journey to the City of London, Liverpool St
- 30-35 minute bus journey to Shoreditch/ Hackney
- 15 minute bus journey to Brixton
- 5-10 minute bus journey to Peckham

In the local Camberwell area you have lots of lovely eateries, bars, cafes and galleries to try. My favourites, all great, check them out on Time Out!
