Double en suite with garden - up to 6 months

Looking for somewhere short term? Need your own office as well as bedroom? Super fast fibre?

I'm looking for a new flatmate to move into the master bedroom with an en suite shower room for around 6 months. The large flat has a lovely garden, loads of period details (like original fireplaces and high ceilings) and is in a great location - just off Abbeville Road.

This is a three bedroom, two bathroom period flat (over 1,000 sq ft) with its own front door and a beautiful modern urban garden, a large kitchen/diner with a table for 8, a separate sitting room with an original fireplace, built in alcove cupboards & shelves, new LG Smart TV and comfy sofas. The flat is really homely and very nicely decorated and furnished.

The bedroom to rent has its original fireplace, large window, a double bed with four drawers underneath, a built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets.

The en suite shower room is newly installed and is contemporary in style with large porcelain tiles in the shower, basin with cupboard over, loo and shelves.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of storage cupboards.

There is plenty of shared space if you work from home - we'll just make a plan how it will work. There is a separate single bedroom which is currently empty so if you'd like your own study, and are happy to pay more rent, the landlord would be happy for you to use it.

The flat is a 7 minute walk from Clapham South underground with Tesco, M&S Food, Costa and pubs. Abbeville Road has lots of independent restaurants and Pizza Express, gastro pub The Abbeville, Gail's Bakery, an independent cafe, The Ginger Pig butcher, a deli, Sainsburys Local, Co-Op, pharmacy, beauty salons etc. It's also just a 5 minute walk to Clapham Common..

There is plenty of storage throughout the flat and you can also use the huge loft for suitcases/out of season clothes etc. The flat's heating can be turned on/off from an app on your phone.

If you have a car there is on the street with a parking permit from Lambeth Council (about £150 a year depending on your car).

You’ll be sharing with me, Ali. I work in marketing, enjoy all the usual stuff (very much looking forward to life going back to some kind of normality!) - and occasionally the landlady Hannah stays. She lives with her boyfriend in the country but keeps the smallest bedroom in the flat for occasional trips to London (about once a month so you'll essentially live in a large flat with just one person - she is happy to negotiate on you using her bedroom as an office for an additional cost). I'm planning to buy my own place, hence why this is a short term rental.

I'm looking for someone neat and tidy who wants all the comforts of a real London home close to great pubs, restaurants, cafes, Clapham Common and transport links.
