1 Large double room in friendly house share

Do you want a lovely home in London? We have a large double room available in a lovely big Victorian house in Dulwich, South London (zone 3). Available from 9th May.

Rent is £630pcm including bills/cleaner/superfast broadband etc. To sign the tenancy you will need to go through reference and affordability checks so please only apply if you are in steady full time employment and happy to do this.

You will join 4 housemates in a friendly and homely share. The house is well-suited to sociable people, though everyone is considerate and respectful of eachother's privacy and space. It's the kind of house where we like to be around eachother, meet eachother's friends, go out every now and then etc. We are looking for a housemate who wants to contribute to making a lovely home, and ideally is open to staying a while.

The room is a large master bedroom with lovely fireplace and plenty of space. The room is unfurnished but some items could be left if wanted.

The house is very big with loads of period features and character. There is a lovely spacious garden, large kitchen/diner, two bathrooms and a toilet. There is a cosy but spacious living room for relaxing and socialising, and sofa bed for guests. We have a tv set up with virgin TV and Netflix and like hanging out watching stuff together and eating/drinking nice things. There’s also on-road parking if you drive, or space to keep a bike by the side of the house.

We are located between Gipsy Hill (7min walk) and West Dulwich (15min walk) train stations, 15min from Brixton tube station on the number 3 bus route to central London. We are walking distance from Crystal Palace for bars and restaurants and Sydenham Hill woods for a bit of nature in the city.
