Double rooms with great transport links

We have two unfurnished double rooms up for grabs in a very nice house in the centre of West Dulwich, steps away from local shops and pubs. The house is on the first and second floor, situated above a quiet shop.

Two of our housemates have decided to move on so we are looking for some new housemates to join us from the beginning of June.

We have a huge shared living room with a big tv and great speakers, loads of seating and a dining table. There is a separate bathroom and shower room, modern kitchen with a gas hob and fan oven. In the summer we can also be found outside on the roof which is perfect for sitting out for a drink on a summers evening.

Room 1: A large double room on the first floor. This room has very high ceilings, beautiful victorian moulding, and an amazing fireplace.

Room 2: A smaller double (once home to a kingsize bed) on the second floor with high ceilings, neutral decor, and a large sash window.

We are well connected here as we are a short 7 min walk to West Dulwich train station, which is 6 min overground away from Brixton and 12 mins to Victoria. Across the road is a number 3 bus stop which goes through Brixton all the way to Whitehall. The N3 also runs all night, with the benefit of the night tube on the Victoria Line to Brixton means getting home on a late night is pretty easy.

The rent includes all bills: Electric, Gas, Water, council tax (band D) and Fibre Broadband. Our rent tends to go up annually by a very small amount.

The current housemates are a friendly bunch who enjoy a drink at the weekend (and some school-nights). We all have different schedules which means there is never a queue for the shower in the mornings. We welcome smokers but we do ask that there is no smoking in the house.

The housemates you'll be living with include: Matt 34, potter/artist, night-owl, good cook. Abdel 32, Civil Servant, keen traveller. Last but not least and most importantly… Edie, a small, adorable, fluff ball. Edie is Matt’s dog, She has free-roam of the house but she goes to work with Matt everyday. She’s willing to accept cuddles, treats, and attention from anyone willing to give it.

Ideally we would like our new housemates to be sociable and join in on nights out or nights in, but also be independent as we are often out and about and not always home together in the evenings.
