Bright double room in Elephant & Castle

Good sized double room to rent in Elephant & Castle. The room is in an ex-local authority flat with 3 other bedrooms, kitchen and separate bathroom and toilet (no living/dining area). The flat is managed by Spaces Urban Living including all bills (water, electricity, internet, council tax and weekly cleaner). The agency are very helpful and if any issues will send someone to fix/help by the next day with no maintenance cost.

The room is a good sized double and includes double bed, wardrobe, shelving unit, full size mirror, large desk with drawers and chair. It has a large window which makes it a bright, airy room.

The area has excellent transport links. There's a bus stop right outside the flat (136 and 343) which takes 10 minutes to London Bridge or other direction to New Cross/Peckham. 10 minute walk to another bus stop (188, 168, 172, 1, 53) which you can get a bus to anywhere in central London. Elephant & Castle station (train, Northern and Bakerloo line) is around 10-15 mins walk away. Also only a 20 minute walk to Waterloo.

There's a corner shop right outside the flat or 5 minute walk to Lidl and Tesco Metro. Elephant and Castle shopping centre also has a larger Tesco and many more shops.

Currently living here are 2 other females (students) and a male in his early 20s (young professional). They're very friendly and have never had any issues with other flatmates.

The only reason I'm moving out is because I am moving in with a friend that has to move out by the end of June. Otherwise I would stay here until the end of my tenancy. Elephant & Castle is very convenient for working in central London and is an upcoming area with lots going on.

The flat is available from 1st July 2015. The tenancy ends on 13th September. This tenancy can then be renewed for 12 months in September if you wish. You will need to pay a deposit of £952 (1. 5x month rent) and admin fees for referencing etc...

Really good room in a central area (zone 1/2)! Ideal for someone who is in between places or is working in London over the summer :)
