So there are loads of opportunities to get out and about in the fresh air.

The general area

Bushwood is the best part of Leytonstone - close to lots of open space and the good pubs, restaurants and shops of Leytonstone High Road, and close to the Tube station (7 minutes away).

The top end of Leytonstone borders Wanstead and has an up-and-coming feel. Lots of new, hip cafes and restaurants have popped up over the past year or two. It also feels very safe compared to many other parts of London.

There are plenty of local independent shops / cafes etc nearby, and both Stratford Westfield and Walthamstow shopping centres are a short bus ride away. Not forgetting Stratford has the new the Olympic Park!

While the lovely open spaces of Epping Forest are on your doorstep, literally.

Travel

It’s an easy commute to either Central London, the City, Canary Wharf, North or South London.

The house is about 7 minutes walk to Leytonstone Tube station on the Central Line. From the house, it would take you just 20 minutes - that's the walk to the Tube station and the Tube journey combined - to Liverpool Street, or just 30 minutes to Oxford Circus. Stratford is just 2 stops away with connections for the Jubilee Line, the Docklands Light Railway and overland trains to Dalston, Hackney Central and Camden.

The London Overground station called Leytonstone High Road is only 10 minutes walk from the flat and is also good for getting to North London - like Hampstead Heath. You can get to Walthamstow Central at the end of the Victoria Line in 20 minutes by bus from Leytonstone Tube station.
