Large room in stylish Turnpike Lane house share.

The house is large, homely, stylish, well kept, and Edwardian. It has many original features such as fire places, wooden floors and sash windows. As I am the owner/occupier there are lots of quality pieces of furniture and I keep everything in good condition. The kitchen is large, mostly wooden and opens onto a small garden. The garden is a mixture of shrubs and flowers and is lovely to sit in. I love gardening and spend a lot of time there in the summer.
The lounge is also large, well furnished, and attractively decorated. I keep my books there, mainly novels, which a current lodger calls "the library." You can borrow them.

The rooms being let are lovely, sunny, good sized doubles with large windows over looking the garden. They are well furnished and there is a lot of storage. The floors are a mixture of natural wood and rugs.

When the house is full there are three, and sometimes four, of us. Presently there are two females, including myself the owner. Most people are professionals or post grads and warm, friendly, relaxed, clean and tidy and quietish. I like to think that I'm all these things! I often have people who are into The Arts, as this is what I love! But this of course is not essential. We tend to be friendly, and perhaps have a drink together, but mostly do our own thing.
I also want to say that the whole house is for everyone to share.
Friends and partners are of course welcome.

In terms of facilities everything is included in the rent, gas, electricity, council tax, broadband etc. So absolutely nothing extra to pay.
The house is close to Turnpike Lane underground station, which is on the brilliant Piccadilly Line and also near lots of bus routes and two British rail stations.
There are two parks literally at the end of the road and both now have cafes. There are also shops and restaurants galore in Green Lanes, Crouch End etc.
The house is in a very quiet road though.
I am happy for someone of any age or gender to move in as long as they are friendly, co-operative, clean and just pleasant!

COVID 19.....This is a large house so there is plenty of room to space out. We are responsible people and follow all the rules.
We all have quietish life styles.
