Charming flatshare in W1 - 3 great flatmates!

THE FLAT

One of those properties you can only really find in London, either a Victorian or Georgian terrace – we’d be lying if we knew which – it’s tall and thin with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a communal living room and kitchen area, all set over 3 floors. The living room and kitchen area are open plan with floor-to-ceiling sash windows and wooden floorboards. As you can imagine with an older property, what it lacks in shine it more than makes up for in charm. A little bit like the housemates.

THE ROOMS

A compact double bedroom on the first floor, and another on the second floor, each sharing a bathroom with one other housemate. There’s no point in me telling you these rooms are massive, they're not. BUT, they are really nice rooms with a double bed and a built in wardrobe, plus additional storage in the landing outside. They also benefit from having a large window facing the rear of the property, meaning it’s quiet and has a decent view over Marylebone’s backstreets.

THE AREA

Marylebone, if you don’t already know it, is a great part of London. You can’t walk more than about 50 yards without finding a decent pub or a nice place to eat, but if you’re in a really picky mood you’re only a 20 minute stroll away from Oxford Circus and all the variety the West End has to offer. To add to that, the flat is incredibly close to Regents Park, not much further away from Hyde Park, and with Baker Street as the nearest tube station, it’s pretty well connected to all of London. Finally, to say the area is so central, it feels remarkably village-like, it’s usually quiet and relaxed and you get to recognise the same old faces around the places.

BUT WHO LIVES IN A HOUSE LIKE THIS?

3 young professionals – one boy, Michael, and two girls, Melissa and Tash – who’ve lived together for a few years and really get on as a group of friends. We’re all aged between 25 – 30, Michael works in digital marketing, Melissa works in retail and Tash is in advertising. We hang out together a fair bit – usually on the sofa, to be honest, but occasionally at the pub. Other than that, we’re all leading quite busy lives so we just tend to see each other when we see each other, and it’s a very friendly environment.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for two people aged somewhere between 25-30 (or thereabouts), who leads a similar lifestyle to us. It’s hard to tell what somebody’s like from reading an ad (or replying to an ad) – so we’ll be holding viewings over the next few weeks to try to find a housemate who’s a good fit. We ideally need somebody to move in Feb 24th/25th, so get in touch and tell us a little bit about yourself – your age, what you do, what you like doing, your favourite hang outs etc etc – and we’ll get in touch to invite you round.
