Lovely double room in nice homely Victorian house on tree lined quiet street in the popular and arty area of Nunhead.(near East Dulwich and Peckham rye)

Nunhead station is a 2 min walk away. Other stations include Queens Road Peckham and Peckham Rye are 12 min walk away and Brockley a 17 minute walk away. At commuter times the journey to London Bridge and Victoria by rail can be as little as 15 minutes. It is also well-placed for people needing Camberwell (King's College Hospital), Bromley, Goldsmith's, Elephant and Castle and the DLR at Lewisham and Blackfriars and so easy links to the city.

The room is a medium double with a balcony bed, Its is bright and clean with space under bed for a sofa and/or clothes rail or extra storage. It has a chest of draws and shelves for books and space for a desk. lso clothes rail available and room has chest of draws, shelving. Widow is overlooking the garden. The house has all necessities (washing machine , tumble dryer, wireless broadband) and a south-facing garden with lots of sunlight. The house has 2 toilets so no queuing! It has a large living room/ dining room with sofas and glass doors accessing the garden from lounge and kitchen. It's very homely and we all use all areas of the house .

At the moment the house has one couple and two singles so two females and one male and myself from time to time. It is my house but I am usually away at University in Wales so often it is only 3 people at home, we are all are friendly and sociable. We enjoy music, travel, theater and films, photography, politics, journalism and many varied interests but also have busy lives and work hard.
We are looking for an kind, amiable, friendly person who is used to communal living, who takes responsibility and tidies up after themselves so the kitchen is kept clean and the communal areas are free from personal clutter, basically flat-share trained. we are all strictly non smoking please (even outside smokers are a No no sorry so please don't apply) and we would rather a professional person as it is not a party house . Anyone who is interested in gardening might be a bonus as the garden needs love.

I pay the Council Tax and a the Cleaning lady but other bills are split, each house mate has a bill or two in there name to share the responsibility.

The room will be available from the 1st of July although there might be some wriggle room.
