1 Double Room in Peckham Rye Victorian Terrace!

We’re Roshni, Tim & Ben and we are looking for a female housemate to fill a room in our 4 bedroom Victorian terrace in Peckham. The room will be available from 19th May (2019).

(Sorry – no students or short lets)

THE AREA:

The house is located in a really nice part of Peckham – you have some great cafes, bars, shops and takeaways at the end of the street at Bellenden Road, but you are also just 5 minutes walk away from Rye Lane’s markets, shops, etc. It's also just 10 minutes walk to Lordship Lane, and the Rye itself. There is a nice little park just round the corner.
Peckham Rye station is a brisk 7 minutes walk from the house, which has Overground, as well as trains to Farringdon, Kings Cross, London Bridge and Victoria. There are also buses that go all over the place that you can catch from Rye Lane.

THE HOUSE:

The house is in a quiet neighbourhood as the road has hardly any through traffic, which is really nice. It is a 4 bedroom house which has 2 main shared living spaces - a decent sized kitchen and a nice, comfy living room. There are two bathrooms, a downstairs one with toilet and bath, and an upstairs shower room also with a toilet. There is a utility room with more storage space. There is a small backyard/garden, big enough to sit out with a few friends.
We share the house with Minnie – Ben’s shy feline friend!

THE ROOM:

The available room is on the ground floor and is partly furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. There is enough space for a small desk / chest of drawers etc.

HOUSEMATES:

You’ll be sharing with three creative friends: Roshni (27, works in the Arts) Tim (31, architect) and Ben (39, designer). Our interests include films, reading, music, red wine, socialising and enjoying the local area etc.

We’d love to live with friendly, laid back, like-minded people with similar interests. It’s important to us that the house has a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. We enjoy spending time hanging out together but also have our own independent lives.

Deposit: 1 months rent
Bills per month per person: £100-ish (water, gas, electricity, council tax, internet and cleaner)

We also use Splitwise for any communal purchases like washing up liquid and cleaning products.
