Cosy double room with Thames view - fab location!

Ad ref# 3914699

*ROOM AVAILABLE FROM AUGUST 7th*

This prettily decorated, homely flat on The Thames path has views overlooking the river, The City & Canary Wharf. The double bedroom - though modest in size - has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. The bed is also extremely comfy!
I really don't want this to be yet another flat share for us, but rather one where it'll hopefully be two friends living together.

ME:
I'm very much a positive, bubbly and sociable person. I'm into fitness and health - I go to the gym, yoga or pilates most days, and I walk everywhere!
At weekends, I love to cook, go to the pub or go to one of the many latest pop-up events. I thrive on culture, and try to visit the latest exhibitions. I also love exploring London and all it has to offer - especially its food markets/festivals & events.
Other interests include:
*travelling
*personal development & spirituality
*history
*interior design
*photography
*music
*start-ups, networking & entrepreneurship.

I'm very much a creative (I work in television plus I'm starting 2(!!!) businesses on the side), so I remote work for half of the week either at home or at a shared workspace/cafe. I like to keep myself busy.
During the week I tend to have quite relaxed evenings - going to the gym, watching a bit of tv or reading. Sometimes I have friends/neighbours round for a supper & TV boxset evening.
I'm a very tidy and clean person - an untidy, dirty home is my pet peeve and is not conducive to a clear/focused mind!

YOU:
I want this to be an awesome household! This home is such an oasis next to the river, and I want both of us to come back after work to a really nice and uplifting environment.
I don't mind if you're a guy or a girl, but as I like to be in a tidy space I need a flatmate who is equally scrupulous when it comes to cleanliness and tidiness, not to mention hygiene! Things like doing the washing up before going to bed etc. I'd like us to equally share the chores (there shouldn't be too much quite frankly, but really don't these things to get petty).
Having said that, I want you to feel at home here - this is important to me. Put your books/trinkets on the bookshelves etc. - we need to feel relaxed in each other's company. During the week it'd be great to have a fellow sociable person who'd like to unwind together i. e. not stay in their room all the time.
I'd like to include a new flatmate into my life - so whether that's doing something together at the weekend (London Gin Festival anyone?), going out for drinks with friends/neighbours etc. I'd like someone to feel that they could invite me to stuff too.

THE FLAT:
-The flat is located in the popular Sovereign Crescent development on The Thames path - there's even a beach outside (when the tide is low) - not many people can boast that!
-The flat (a 2 bed, 1 bathroom & 1 shower room) is small but has a large amount of storage space for its size.
-The boiler is new, so lots of hot water and great water pressure.
-In the hallway there are 2 good-sized storage cupboards & the boiler room has a tumble dryer in it/doubles up as a coat cupboard.

LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM:
-There's an open plan living room/kitchen with a large dining room table that can seat up to 8 people.
-The living room has 2 sofas (one of which is a sofa bed for friends/family), 2 armchairs & a large footstool that can double up as a seat.

KITCHEN:
-The kitchen, although tiny, is well equipped - there's a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, double sink, plus lot of pots & pans, a Nutribullet (which you're welcome to use) & a coffee machine.

THE SE16 AREA:
-The flat is a short walk to some fantastic pubs (The Mayflower, Salt Quay, Ship & Whale & The Angel), plus cafes, restaurants and shops around Rotherhithe & Canada Water area.
-I've been living in Rotherhithe for 2 1/2 years, and I love the area - I think it's great. There's a real buzz about SE16. Since I moved in, things like Midnight Apothecary and Hawker's House (both 10 mins stroll away) have opened up at the weekend. Secret Cinema has also temporarily moved into the area. Nice events here are becoming more common - which is lovely,
-Rotherhithe/Canada Water is very tranquil - posh developments outweigh the council flats, and I've felt nothing but safe here. I even tend to walk back home from a night out in town!
-The area is full of young professionals who like to keep active - everyone here seems to run or cycle, but also socialise on weekends.
-There's a dry-cleaners and off-licence 2 mins from the flat, and a Co-op is about to open up just opposite - literally a 30 second walk from the flat.
-A large Tesco (at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre) & Sainsburys are 10-15mins away too.
-Surrey Quays Shopping Centre also includes (Boots, Starbucks, Superdrug, River Island, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Holland & Barrett).
-The flat is really near Russia Docklands Park - a lovely area to go for a walk, run or picnic. Stave Hill (in the centre of the park) has amazing panoramic views across London.

TRANSPORT (Zone 2):
-Canada Water (Jubilee, Overground) AND Rotherhithe (Overground) - both Zone 2 - are 10-15min walk away.
-The flat is also 2 mins away from C10 & (N)381 bus stops - both stop at Canada Water & Rotherhithe tube, or takes you to Bermondsey, London Bridge, Waterloo within a few minutes.
-Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Waterloo, The City, Greenwich & Shoreditch are within 5-20mins by public transport/car.
-The flat is a 5min stroll from the Docklands ferry located at Hilton Doubletree - takes you across to Canary Wharf in 2mins.
-As I tend to walk everywhere, Shad Thames/Tower Bridge is 20-25min walk along The Thames Path. London Bridge is a 30min walk away.
