ABOUT THE ROOM

A very sweet double bedroom. Has built in storage, double bed, a table, drawers, fake fireplace, view into our 'garden' area. The bathroom is just outside the room (with the bath) - but to be honest, we also have another bathroom/ shower upstairs, and prefer to mix and match.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

Fantastic property - huge kitchen, with extended space with 2 sofas, towards the 'garden', nice living room with fire place.
No tv but good wifi reception all around.
We have both shower and the bath, you can use any.
Washing machine, great dish washer, but no dryer.
Very spacious happy house.

BILLS
internet, council tax and cleaner - INCLUDED.
we only share the remaining bills, that are reasonable, especially over the summer.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

5 min walk to Shepherds Bush Market, 12 min walk to Shepherds Bush Central Line.
Quiet street, very safe, nice neighbours. The Uxbridge Road leading to the tube has many markets with fresh vegetables, Polish and Arabic shops.
Easy access to so many areas in London:
Hammersmith, Heathrow, Oxford Street, Baker Street, Kensington etc.

ABOUT THE TENNANTS

The house is occupied by a classical concert pianist girl (dominating the use of the living room at anytime of the day or night, if I need to practise) (with headphones in the evening, so no worries) - and a famous conductor, who also has an office room at home.
We both have quite big personalities, we work from home, but also travel a lot. We love cooking, meeting new people, learning new things and exploring London. We love making dinner parties and keeping the house light and happy, but we also need some quiet time to concentrate on work or to spend an evening without too much integrating. All very reasonable.
ATTENTION: The house will be sold in the summer, so I was asked to find someone for the extra room until then.
The landlord is my good friend, and I lived in the house for some years now, so I am responsible for various decision making there, to make sure everything is well.

ABOUT YOU

We know it's a great property in a very nice area for a very good price, so we are looking for a very special housemate to share this space with.
We are looking for:
-professionals who work office hours (as we work from home)
- hopefully, someone who is a great cook! the kitchen is really nice!
- someone who works in interesting industry with a great network of friends and colleagues (TV, theatre, banking, fashion, leaders of creative and business environments)
- someone who keeps the house very tidy, as we do
-someone who has been in London for many years
