Off Market For Now Relaxing Studio

Ad ref# 6668401

The place is currently off the market for now as someone is going through the process with the landlord, of renting it.

What you see here on the pictures is actually even better in person. I’m afraid my photography skills aren’t up to scratch sometimes! This is a pretty, self-contained with a separate bathroom. It is on the second floor of a house with the advantage of being at the back so it is incredibly quiet inside. As soon as you enter you have storage for coats and shoes, plenty of it as well, on the right and to the left is the entrance to the bathroom. Unlike a lot of other places this one has a bath which is quicker to fill up than the time it takes to boil a kettle-the water heats up really well so you have everything you need to relax after a day working/studying in London.

Through to the main room, we have placed the table and chairs on the right and to the left is a new, spacious kitchen with a lot of counter space. The oven and hob work wonderfully, essential for people like me who practically live in the kitchen! There is a large wardrobe and chest of drawers (they fit everything we need for the two of us) and we have the large, double bed in the corner. The bed is comfy and wonderful to get into after that relaxing bath you’ve had. There is still a lot of space left in the rest of the room, so we’ve even managed to fit a small desk for ourselves, a beanbag as a makeshift ‘sofa’ and a room divider.

The area itself is full of character and with lots to do there are a lot of nice restaurants and bakeries with freshly baked bread and pastries. We really recommend the nut shop that also sells amazing baklava. Turning right down the road you will come across a great brunch café with amazing flat whites, called Proud Mary’s. There are also nice pubs with open mic nights too if that’s more your vibe. It is 8 minutes-walk from the Hammersmith and city line tube station, and the all night running central line station is only 12 mins walk. Buses run almost from the doorstep all over London. If you’re interested in running or playing basketball/football, there is a small park a few streets behind us. All in all, we would say there is something for almost everyone here.

The reason we are moving out is that Kieran’s work is taking us elsewhere and so we are looking in a different area now. It would mean starting a 12 month contract, following which you have the opportunity to renew. We would like someone to move in early January, but this could hopefully be negotiated with the landlord to be before Christmas. The rent includes water bills, and the council tax + other utilities costs around £100pcm. There is an admin fee of £250 to process the contract and take referees.
