3 minutes from a VERY cheap but great gym.
5 minutes from a Tesco, Sainsbury's and M&S
6 minutes from The Southbank, The Globe Theatre, The Tate Modern etc... with LOTS of nice restaurants.
8 minutes from Waterloo (Mainline and Underground and endless night buses)
8 minutes from London Bridge (Mainline and Underground)
10 minutes from Blackfriars (Mainline and Underground)
Never had to wait more than 3 minutes for an Uber!

**You will also be living with 2 cats, so please, only reply to this advert if you aren't allergic and are willing to be responsible when it comes to leaving doors/windows open. They are my responsibility for everything else, however. You are not expected to feed them or even play with them, they can/will stay out of your room too :) The cats are VERY friendly and have never hissed, scratched and will play fetch with you!**

The room is furnished with a desk, chair and KING bed. There's lot of storage across one wall and a cupboard and a large window overlooking Westminster. If you find a better view of The Shard for this price then I'll eat my hat :)

You'll be sharing with me, a final year medical student at King's College. I'm really easy-going, and am pretty much working non-stop towards finals (I work from around 6 - 7 during the week and normally just relax at the weekends)

The really cool things about the flat:

50Mb broadband; it's almost ridiculous how fast it is, it's quite difficult to not get addicted to steaming TV all the time.
A balcony which gets sunlight in the afternoon; mini BBQs have been attempted on it!
Huge TV and extra storage in the living room.
Super close to a really lovely pub
There's an Xbox 360! Yay!

Fully furnished, including kitchen equipment. Can potentially make space for more equipment if needed, but it is all provided.

Awesome computer/speaker system in the living room for music/chilling

The flat is in a secure block of flats (you need an electronic key to get into the gates) and is on the 6th floor, but there are 2 lifts if stairs aren't your thing.

The view of The Shard is amazing and I have nothing but "wow, you live HERE?" when people come to visit.

I'm ideally looking for a respectful person who won't be bringing back strangers who might accidentally let the cats out or a couple with similar working hours who are easy-going and respectful when it comes to not having every person they've ever known come over to party at 11pm on a Monday!

If you are a young professional, please note you will be responsible for the council tax (£59. 25 per calendar month). If you are a student then there is no council tax to pay as long as you are studying full-time.

There is great parking outside which is about £30/week if you need it.

The location is second to none with Southwark, Borough and Waterloo all within short walking distance. There are always cabs nearby too.

I looked for a long place for somewhere like this; there really aren't any other places like this, which is why I've been here for so many years.

I will potentially be leaving at the end of March or June; there is a possibility for you to therefore take over the lease yourself, should you desire :)

The last time I rented this room there was an overwhelming response and demand, it will go very quickly.
