Wood Street is a quiet, quirky and safe area. There is a indoor market with vintage and antique stores and a number of surprising shops including a Viking Store(!) The pubs and cafes of Walthamstow village are a short walk from the flat.

There are excellent transport links. The flat is a short walk from Wood Street Station which has regular trains to Liverpool Street via Walthamstow Central and Hackney Downs. Walthamstow Central (super speedy Victoria line) is a pleasant 15 minute walk away through fashionable Walthamstow village.
