City Centre, Georgian Quarter - Flatmate Wanted

Hi,

I'm looking for a flatmate to share my Hope Street flat in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool. Ideally I'm looking for someone with some similar interests who I'll get along with and who will look after the flat and treat it as a home. I've lived here for over eight years and it's a great place to live. Whoever comes in will need to be in full time employment and will need references and to pay a deposit (all the standard stuff). Although its a double room, I'd prefer no couples (no issue with people staying over, I just mean on a permanent basis).

The flat itself is on the first floor and is above a restaurant. It is fully modernised and comprises two double rooms, two bathrooms, and a combined kitchen/lounge area (the lounge is a decent size). The available room will be part furnished when my current flatmate moves out with a bookcase, chest of drawers and a double bed. The room is a large double room and has built in wardrobe space. The utilities consist of water, electricity, Sky broadband, Sky tv (basic package), plus council tax and insurance etc (I've estimated these to be around £140 per month). The kitchen has an electric oven/hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a washing machine/tumble drier. The flat is situated in a fantastic area with lots of local shops, restaurants and amenities, and walking distance to the town centre and Central / Lime Street train stations.

About me:
I'm a 37 year old Graphic Designer and Illustrator. I like 90's indie bands, TV box set marathons, and video games. Pretty broad tastes I know but hopefully that means I'm quite easy to get along with.

This is lovely flat and I'd want the person who comes in to be someone who'll look after the place. That's not to say they'd need to treat it like a museum, just that I'd want them to keep the place fairly tidy and clean, and to contribute to the general upkeep of the place.
