En-suite basement double room in listed Villa

At the beginning of October, we will have available a newly refurbished double en-suite basement room with its own separate kitchen in our grade 2 listed Victorian Villa in New Brighton, Wallasey, Wirral. The room is available Monday to Friday and may be available 7 days for those wanting a shorter let (rent quoted is for 5 days). The house is located on the highest point in New Brighton about 2 minutes walk from New Brighton station and about 5 minutes walk from the sandy beach and promenade. The room (which may not suit everyone as it in in the basement) has a new en-suite, tiled bathroom with roomy shower, WC and wash basin, double bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, walk-in cupboard, TV point and plug in superfast Broadband (so no issues with internet access or signal). There is a small, well equipped kitchen and dining area adjacent to the bedroom for exclusive use by the tenant. The basement also has a comfortable TV lounge and home cinema which would also be available for use. We occasionally use this, but mostly at weekends as we have our own separate TV lounge. The rent quoted is fully inclusive of all bills, council tax and internet access for a Monday to Friday arrangement. Safe, on street parking is available directly outside the house. New Brighton is on the Wirral coastline, across the river from Liverpool, and has recently been re-vitalised with a new promenade, digital cinema, supermarket, shops and restaurants. There is a train to Liverpool city centre every 15 minutes and the journey time is about 25 minutes. Seacombe ferry terminal is 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes by bicycle and there is a commuter ferry across the river to Liverpool every morning and evening. New Brighton would also be a suitable location for those working in all parts of the Wirral and Chester. We are an active, no smoking middle aged couple with no children looking for a mature, professional person to rent the room (aged 30+, any gender). I am a policy researcher also undertaking a PhD and my partner does specialist stone work. We can offer the room for 6 months and possibly 12 months (depending on our current lodger who may be moving back after 6-12 months working elsewhere). We both enjoy cycling and walking. We are happy to arrange a no obligation viewing.
