All utility bills are included in this price so you don't need to worry about gas, electric, council tax, water rates or broadband/wifi.

Our current housemate is about to relocate for work so we are looking for either a couple or single to house share with.
We are a couple and we have the remainder of the house, but as you are self contained with the rooms on the top floor we will only need to share a few of the facilities of the house, such as the garden and washing machine, dishwasher.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A STRICTLY NO SMOKING AND NO PETS HOUSEHOLD.
So what do you get again.... You will have the top floor of the house to yourself. It has the double bedroom you see in the pictures, an en-suite shower room with walk in shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin, plus there is a separate room to use as a sitting room/cooking area. Large Storage Cupboard on landing, great for suitcases etc... there is also a landing for your sole use, great for for various things like shoe storage, book shelves, free standing full length mirror.
The price listed includes all utility bills ie: council tax, gas, electric & water and broadband.
The bedroom and sitting room for rent are both fully furnished.
The bedroom has a double bed, neutral bed linen, 2 beautiful rattan style bedside cabinets, lamps, pictures, chest of drawers. There is also a TV point in the bedroom (you can also put an extension and run a T. V. in the sitting room next door if you want to), we do not supply a TV or freeview/sky etc.. but you are welcome to bring your own.
The sitting room/cooking area has a small brown leather sofa in it. Also for your sole use are electric appliances including toaster, kettle and microwave, dishes, pans and nice cabinets for storing food/tinned goods and bench space for food prep. You also have for your sole use an under counter fridge and under counter freezer. You can also use the main kitchen of the house if you want to but you are private and separate if you want to be.
Renting this space is an ideal arrangement for either a couple or just anyone who doesn't mind a bit of a chat with other housemates but really values their own privacy.
The house is about 8-9 years old and is very neutral throughout. It is situated about 2 miles from St Helens Town Centre and is conveniently on the main bus route.
The many retail parks, gyms, supermarkets, hospitals and local facilities are all within a mile or 2 of the house. A reasonable paced walker could do the town centre in around 15 minutes, driving in around 4 or 5 mins and if you want to hop on the bus... well the bus stops outside the front door, you really could not get any more convenient. St Helens Central station is just on 1 mile from the house too.
We also have great access to the M57, M62, M6 and East Lancs Road for those that need to travel out. We can drive to the M62 Junction 7, 8 or 9 in around 10 mins.
There is a lot of parking space in a parking area behind the house for those with a vehicle.
If you have any hesitations about sharing with a couple all I can say is that we have shared our homes with various people over the years, both singles and couples, males and females and honestly never had an issue.
We are experienced live in landlords (been doing this for about 8 years or so with various properties). We know what standards we expect from housemates and we know about respecting peoples privacy and their property.
We are professional working people looking for like minded hard working normal people that have a mature attitude and who are willing to look after our home as we do.
We are nice, friendly, pretty easy going people. We are helpful and there if you need us, and we keep our noses out when you don't need us.
Although we are friendly and up for a laugh, we work long hours so home is our haven. It is not a party type household so please don't contact us if that is what you are looking for, or if any of the following apply to you: We are not looking to share with anyone who has pets of any sort, children that they want living with them, smokers, people that like to play music or instruments loudly, or people that want to drag lots of different strangers through the doors etc...
Now that I have made us sound like we hate kids, pets and everything else in between (which we really don't but from a rental perspective that isn't what works for us) if we haven't scared you off and you also have standards like us and understand that we are just being honest from the start then give us a call and come and view the space we are offering, you won't be disappointed.
