ACCOMMODATION:
2nd floor single room with bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, desk with drawers and computer chair, area with shelves, TV and freeview, easy chair, linen airer, All bed linen, double duvet, pillows and towels supplied(washed by landlady). Smoke alarm and fire extinguisher, own small kettle, iron, ironing board and vaccuum cleaner.
1st floor:
Toilet and vanity unit virtually for tennants own use - toilet rolls supplied. Bathroom with bath and overhead shower, and washbasin (no shaver points).
Lounge with tennants own fridge with freezer compartment, sofa and comfy chairs, dining table and chairs for use by tennant, TV with freeview and baby grand piano. Now rarely used by landlady except to dry towels and bedlinen!
Ground floor:
Fully fitted, modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, gas cooker and washing machine. All cookware, tableware and cutlery etc. for use by tennant. Back door to small, pretty garden for use by tennant.
Landlady's living room and bedroom. House is large Victorian terrace in small cul de sac off main road. Small garden to front with parking for owner's car only. On road parking available approx. 20m from house.
About me:
Nurse/midwife/HV, retired due to ill health (Multiple Sclerosis). Widowed - husband was a professional musician/teacher. Friendly, young at heart, approachable and helpful where poss (e. g. helped mature student by proof reading his essays, have spoken on foreign students and recent lodger's behalf if difficulty conversing with formal calls, etc. GSOH - just physically decrepid at times!!! You must expect from me (apart from needing the rent to be paid on time!) that I am busy but usually work inside in pyjamas, sometimes untidy with paperwork, garden sometimes creeps into kitchen!
What I expect from you - that you respect me and my house and property and that your room is kept clean, dirty crockery brought downstairs for washing regularly, shower cleaned after use - nothing nelse major!
