Stunning Room in Family Home, No Min No of Nights

We have a gorgeous, extremely spacious sunny bedroom available for short-term stays in our family home in Teddington. It is ideally suited for a short visit to, or working contract in, the area if you would prefer a lovely homely, family feel instead of a hotel or lodge etc (and a fraction of the cost!).

The room is at the top of the house, and nicely secluded on its own floor. It is very tastefully decorated and has use of a large, bathroom (including bath and separate, fantastic shower!). It comes fully-furnished with White Company bedding/linen/towels provided, Freeview TV, free wi-fi, tea/coffee making facilities, and hairdryer. The table in the bedroom extends into a desk, useful if you wish to work in the evenings. Use of washing machine available. Occasional use of family kitchen can sometimes be arranged if required.

We are a young(ish!), friendly couple in early 40s with two daughters. This is our family home, so it is not a houseshare in the traditional sense. The set-up would ideally suit a working professional working short-term in the area/on a short job contract/coming for a meeting etc ; or people moving to the area/in between houses/house renovations and needing somewhere as a base whilst you settle and find a permanent home. It is also ideal if you are planning to attend some of the popular annual events in the area such as Hampton Court Flower Show, Twickenham Rugby, Wimbledon Tennis etc.

The house is on Kingston Road, Teddington - 5 mins walk to Hampton Wick train station (good services to Waterloo, Twickenham, Richmond, Wimbledon), 10 mins walk to Kingston town centre with all its shops, restaurants and cinema, 10 mins walk to the wonderful Teddington High Street, renowned for excellent local shops and eateries.

Also great bus links (281 and 285) from right outside the house (including direct to Heathrow). We are very close to the River Thames, and Bushy Park. There is free parking outside our house and on the roads around the house. We also have a large back garden, with rear access, where you to keep a bike if you are planning to cycle to and from work. We also have bikes available to borrow for a small charge.

Rates vary depending on your requirements (eg: Sun/Mon to Thurs nights preferred, although we can offer Fri/Sat nights too at additional cost) so please contact me for more details. We prefer short-term lets ie from a few nights to a few weeks.

We have been renting out our room in this way for several years and have had many happy guests eg: Richard, working for a local Teddington company on a short-term contract says: "I certainly will get in touch again if I need to stay - the room & set up were just excellent."
