Room for Rent - Corstorphine - Up to 6 Months

I have a beautifully furnished double bedroom available for 7 days a week. This would especially suit anyone working wholly from an office or hybrid on the West side of Edinburgh or needing short term accommodation in a comfortable setting before considering medium-longer term accommodation plans.

I live at Pinkhill Park, a quiet development situated beside Carricknowe Golf Course and opposite Edinburgh Zoo. The bus stop is only a 5 minute walk way and there is an excellent bus service to the city centre and Edinburgh Airport. The number 12 bus serves the Gyle.

A 10 minute walk takes you to Balgreen tram stop which runs into the city centre (York Place Terminus) and Edinburgh Airport (stops include: Saughton, Edinburgh Business Park and the Gyle).

There is a Lidl and large Tesco supermarket approx. 1.5 miles and there's a range of shops, cafes and restaurants located in Corstorphine Village and Roseburn.

I live in a 4 storey block located in a peaceful and secluded location with a low level care home adjacent. My living room looks out to beautiful Scots Pine trees and it's a joy to watch the wildlife.

The room comprises of a built-in single wardrobe, a pine double bed with a pair of matching bedside tables, a large chest of drawers, desk with office-style chair and a TV. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is primary use of the bathroom located just across the hallway (I occasionally make use of the bath since I have a shower in my en-suite).

There is shared use of the open plan kitchen/dining/living room. The flat is beautifully furnished throughout. I do operate a no outdoor shoe policy in order to keep my wooden flooring and carpets clean so it's advisable to bring slippers.

In terms of parking facilities, there is unallocated parking within the development plus an underground garage in one of the adjacent blocks.

I am looking for someone who is easy going, friendly, responsible, clean and tidy and who will treat my flat with a bit of TLC.

I consider myself to be down to earth. Occasionally I may have friends over for tea/drinks to which you would be welcome to join. I want you to feel at home. When I am in the flat I like to have a bit of a chat over a cuppa or relax watching TV (I confess to being a big fan of Coronation Street).

I am vegetarian but I don't mind living with a meat eater.

Overall, it's a pretty relaxed and quiet place to stay.

Sundry items (washing up liquid/clothes washing detergents/dishwasher tablets) are included at no extra charge.
