Comfortable Wholesome Family Home....

Due to my current short lived lodger having an unexpected change in circumstances I am re-advertising my spareroom. The exact date the room will be available is negotiable around the end of September.

Hi, my name is Sara and I live with my 9 year old son Toby and our 17 year old cat called Spirit.

My house is light, bright and homely; most people that come here say it feels lovely, welcoming and comfortable to be in. You will need to be able to give me £170 (2 weeks deposit) and pay 1 weeks rent (£85) in advance each week.

The spare room I have to rent is a large double room which is south facing across to Norwich Cathedral. The room is light, bright and double glazed. There is a double bed, desk and chair, built in wardrobe and drawers/cupboards/shelves for storage. We have broadband (but no TV aerial or TV license), a back garden and on the road 'permit' parking (anyone can park on the road after 6.30pm and up to 8am without a permit). If you need a parking permit your vehicle will need to provide proof that you live here (tenancy agreement) and do a change of address on your car insurance that links both yourself and your car to this address. Walking into Norwich city centre takes approx. 10-15 minute and walking to the train station takes approx. 20 minutes.

I am a professional working mum. I work 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) as a teaching assistant in a Special School for children with complex special needs. My son attends a local primary school, He starts breakfast club for 8am and I pick him up between 4pm and 5. 30pm on my way home each day that I work.

I am interested in cycling, running, holistic therapies, growing my own food, nutrition, health and wellbeing, spending time with friends, music, forest school, time outdoors, spirituality, politics and social change. I am always doing the next DIY project on the house to improve it and had a wood burner fitted this year.

I like to go about our busy lives quietly and am very self contained and focussed throughout the week due to the high demands of life on my time and energy...

I am looking for a lodger who will tread lightly in our home and is also self contained and independent. If you can come and go about your life quietly and mindfully this could be just the place for you. I have had a previous lodger who did shift work and that worked really well but is not a necessity.

The only 'me' time I get is in the evenings so I tend to read, potter about, cook or just have some quiet time in my room. I have been told that I am an easy going landlady as well as being flexible and accommodating.

Ideally you will enjoy living here and I would like to enjoy sharing our home with you. I believe that good communication a positive attitude, being respectful and thoughtful is the way forward for a harmonious household.

I also expect you to be reliable and pay your rent on time as I have had some problems with this in the past.... (£85 a week works out at £368 per calendar month) Please feel free to get in touch for a chat and/or to arrange to come and have a look....
