the room is available from the mid September, my current housemate hasn't decided on an exact day yet.

The Room & House

The room overlooks the back garden (which has a shed if you have a bike). The property is a typical golden triangle terrace off Unthank Road, and an easy 10 minute walk in to the city centre.

The room has a bed and mattress, and some storage space. There is also an adjoining box room, so if you have a desk there is plenty of space for one. There's also a telephone socket, so if you want to you can take calls in the room.

Communal areas include a bathroom (with an excellent hot high water pressure shower), living room, kitchen/diner and garden. The house is fully furnished (including a TV, the landlord pays for the license), this includes cutlery and kitchenware.

Bills

The rent is £340 for the room. The council tax, water rates and TV license are included in the rent. On street parking is available, but you will need to get a permit from Norwich city council.

The monthly utilities come to about £58 a month (per person). This includes: broadband, telephone rental and a small call allowance, gas (heating/cooker), electric and cleaning supplies. If you are looking for unlimited broadband, that's fine, but as I am not a heavy internet user I would ask for you to pay for the difference in cost.

Potential Flatmate

I would really like to find someone where they are looking for a home, and not just a room. It would be nice to share the occasional evening of film/tv or food together too. I've only ever shared with ladies, so please can only females get in touch if interested (nothing personal to any guys).

About me

I like baking, dressmaking, traveling, culture/history and and enjoying good food. I've lived in Norwich for many years and really like the city. I work locally as a professional, full time. I'm a considerate and respectful person, and am looking for someone who shares these values.
