Large Double Room - Garden - Spiritual

We're looking for a lovely housemate to join us in a beautiful, healthy-living, conscious home. Lovely atmosphere, we all enjoy living together and we're looking for someone who is easy to get along with. The three of us currently living here, enjoy meditation, yoga, working in the garden (growing veggies), listening to music (though very respectful).

The house has a community to feel for it will everyone chipping in and doing their bit to keep the home clean, tidy and with good energy. The room in this house share will suit someone who likes their own space and but will also enjoy shared meals, evenings in the garden, group meditation and putting energy into keeping your home a lovely place to be. We have lots of plants so green fingered is prefer although not essential and vegetarian preferred.

The double room has a Kind Size double bed, built in wardrobe, desk, plenty of storage (beautiful wooden furniture) and still room for yoga.

The bathroom has just been redecorated and has a Zen Jungle style theme with soft lighting.

The house has frequently receives comments of how chilled and peaceful it feels with a really nice vibe.

Good sized kitchen with washing machine and drier.

Lawned garden with veggies and fruit patch, hammock, fire pit, terrace and soon an out door shower/bath. Get's plenty of sun from midday to an hour or so before sunset.

Communal lounge with Netflix, and usually one of Amazon Prime or Disney+

We're located away from noisy roads in a quiet neighbour hood with a large gorgeous local natural park nearby (Catton Park). There are plenty of shops a few minutes walk away.

Ideally we're looking for someone long term who will see this as their home for the foreseeable future (6 months or more ideal although shorter term considered).

Viewing available by video and in person if there is strong interest from both sides.

We are a friendly house hold, relaxed and easy going.
- 1 guy working in adult care, regular practices of breath work.
- 1 guy wellbeing events organiser & facilitator.
- 1 girl wellbeing events organiser & facilitator.
- 1 new house mate...you?
- Vegetarian / Mostly Vegan household with shared community meals from time to time.
We also have a lovely 1 year old cat named Leo, he is a wise master!

ABOUT YOU:
We have been creating a homely, welcoming and community environment where we can all thrive. This is not just a room in a house with other people. We would like to live with someone who is:
- Between 23 and 47
- Working professional or creating your dream business.
- Easy to get on with, social (no couples, no pets please).
- Open communication, practical, cleans up after themselves and appreciates co-creating a cosy, social home.
- Interests in healthy and creative living, yoga, meditation, running, cycling, music, dance, film etc preferred.
- Someone who does not stay up late on weekdays as we all try to go to bed around 11pm on weekdays and get up early for morning practices.

THE ROOM / PAYMENT / BILLS:
- Monthly rent £475 pcm
- Security deposit £300
- Bills included (gas, electricity, water, council tax, broadband) TV licence if required is £10 pcm
- Long term preferred 6 months minimum (short term considered £500 pcm)
- Notice period 1 month
- Room is Garden Facing.
- Room is furnished with wooded bed and storage, curtains, mirror, painting and salt lamp.
- Room gets direct sunlight in the afternoon.
- Room is 4.2m x 3.04m (13'9ft x 10ft)

The house is on a quiet street, away from busy main road, very close to a natural park (Catton Park).
- Communial meals (cooking for each other).
- Group fresh veg orders.
- Fully equipped kitchen.
- Washer & Tumble drier.
- Charcoal water filtration system for drinking water.
- New Zen bathroom with large shower.
- Extra separate toilet and sink.
- Lounge area with desk for eating, working, chilling and socialising.
- Good sized lawned garden with plenty of afternoon & evening sunlight. Great for growing veg (currently; Strawberries, potatoes, spring onion, mint, chard and tomatoes)
- Front porch for bike storage.
- We have one hammock stand and hammock (in Spring/Summer).
- Table and chairs in garden.
- Fire pit.
- Outdoor cinema screen and projector for movie nights.
- Free parking on the street.
- Cleaning; each house mate has areas of focus, need a deeper clean once per month with maintenance cleaning as we go along.

In the middle of New & Old Catton. A lovely quiet space, with great access. Catton Park 5 minutes walk, Mousehold Heath 15 minutes walk. Bus to town 2 minutes. Lidls 10 minutes walk.
