Double Room, Ella Street

I have a double room to rent in a lovely two-bed Victorian terrace on a quiet avenue off Ella Street, Hull. The house is 2 mins walk from the amenities of Newland Ave, but being set off from Ella Street is very peaceful.

The house is a very comfortable size and has plenty room for two people: two living rooms (one doubles as an office) and a large kitchen/dining room on the ground floor, and two bedrooms and a large bathroom on the first floor. There's also a big sunny garden (with greenhouse & barbecue) at the back, which has secure access to the street - great for storing bikes etc.

The bedroom is a recently decorated bright double room overlooking the garden at the rear. The room has a very comfortable king-size bed (pocket sprung with memory foam topper), original wardrobe built into an alcove, and chest of drawers.

You'll be sharing the house with me - I'm a 30's professional, I've lived in Hull for about a year and work for an arts organisation in the city. My mid-week schedule can be a little erratic as I often work late, so weekends are a mixture of lazy days listening to 6music, pottering in the greenhouse (tomatos and courgettes look good this year) and nights out dancing with friends at Welly/Zest/New Adelphi.

I'm friendly and uncomplicated: I've lived with housemates for several years before, and hate long lists of house rules - common sense and basic courtesy should be enough to rely on.
