Single Room to let good value

Hi.

A single room is available in my house for rent as lodger. All bills included.

Applicants must be clean, tidy, quiet, considerate, easy going, positive, have a non-judgmental attitude and good social skills. Applicants should be able to respect common essential aims when sharing this house and work towards those aims as though part of a team. These are to maintain a clean, safe, secure, healthy, hygienic household with a positive harmonious atmosphere. Therefore, a respectful, practical, down to earth straight forward attitude is essential.

In brief, it's simply basic common sense, but you must actually have some common sense and not just 'think' you have.

In return for £300 rent per week the lodger is provided with a single room, a shared kitchen, sitting/dining room with TV, bathroom and there's a yard. It is centrally heated, and there's a washing machine, microwave, large fridge/freezer It is located in a desirable area in central Hull off Princes Ave and about a ten minute cycle ride to the Interchange and St Stephen's shopping centre. Pearson Park is only about 10 or 15 minutes walk away. It's very warm and comfortable house with recently refurbished bathroom and kitchen.

I'm 59 years old, I am quiet, clean, tidy, easy going, positive, non-judgmental and so on. Therefore I am looking for someone with which I can reach a mutual respect and understanding.

If you're untidy, noisy, tend to get defensive about nothing, are negative, have conceited views, are arrogant, irresponsible, drink heavily, unruly, on drugs, don't lock doors or windows as a habit constantly, are racist, sexist etc, lack social skills, haven't got very good personal hygiene, or anything else like that, you need not apply.

If you are looking for a place with decent standards but that doesn't cost the earth, and can respect those standards in return, feel free to apply if all that seriousness hasn't put you off. References would also be helpful.

One more thing, a good sense of humour is very helpful too. Don't worry, I'm not an ogre.
