York -Cosy room, idyllic location, 10 mins to city

Cosy, with loads of storage space

Double room available for Monday-Friday let in historic, listed property (lots of beams and an inglenook fireplace) in Naburn village. Idyllic, semi-rural, riverside location, but only 10 - 15 minutes from York University and the City Centre.

Wireless broadband and all bills included. Shared kitchen and sitting room.

Room is furnished, has lots of storage space and a private WC/washbasin. The large, walk-in shower is in the shared family bathroom. I can't offer off-street parking, but there is plentiful on-street parking right outside the front door.

I'm self-employed and work mostly from home. I'm pretty quiet, clean and tidy round the house and would prefer the same in a sharer. I have a large, but very people-friendly dog.

The village is a quiet location so this room won't be ideal if you want to live amidst the bright lights of the city. But if you just want to visit those bright lights then it's 10 - 15 mins by car into York city centre, 25 minutes by bike (the Sustrans cycle route is about 200 yards from the front door), and there's also a regular bus service.

The house is 5 minutes from the A64 dual carriageway (Leeds to the East Coast) and 35 minutes from Leeds City Centre.
