ABOUT THE OFFER:

A newly decorated sunny and bright small double room with a double bed and large walk in cupboard/wardrobe providing ample storage.

Monthly charge (£650 pcm) covers all household bills, plus includes fortnightly cleaning of the room. and fresh bedding and towels which are provided.

Weekly charge £250 per week for stays of 1 to 7 weeks, please enquire for details.; Breakfast can be included with pre arrangement. Includes weekly cleaning and fresh lonen/towels.

The house has a spacious lounge and conservatory, both with catch up TV/broadband. and 2 sofa's to relax on. there is also a secluded south facing garden.

Facilities include bath, shower, central heating, washer/dryer, dual fuel cooker, dishwasher and a well equipped kitchen. You are welcome to use all the kitchen equipment, which is of a high standard.

Off street parking is available and there are no on street parking charges. Bikes can be stored in an outside shed.

Occasional guests are welcome for short stays by pre-arrangement.


ABOUT THE AREA:

Montrose Avenue is a secluded cul-de-sac opposite a park and the Millennium woodland riverside walk into the City centre.

Montrose Avenue is about 10-15 minutes walk from the City centre and York St John University. It is also less than 10 minutes walk to York District Hospital and about 2 minutes walk from Nestle and Nuffield Hospital.

The area has several convenience stores and take aways, plus a theatre and swimming pool, all within a few minutes walk.

Bus stops for travelling in either direction are 25m from the house, with further routes a few minutes walk away..

Sainsbury's, Morrison's and Waitrose are less than a 5 minute drive, plus Monks Cross and Vangarde shopping centre are under 10 minutes by car. Clifton Moor shopping centre, VUE, several gyms and York's bowling alley are also less than a 10 minute drive.

Access to York Outer Ring Road is 5 minutes via New Earswick, and 10 minutes via Monk's Cross.

ABOUT ME:

I am sociable, friendly and enjoy occasional shared meals and socialising; I like my housemates/guests to feel at home, and have enjoyed the company of several housemates with whom I remain good friends.

I speak French and am learning Spanish, so it would be fun to practice either if you also speak either language.
