We are Situated in the Dringhouses area, close to the A64, we are a warm and friendly family and have been renting our rooms for the last 15 years. Our rooms have their own TV with built in DVD and the brand new excellent Fibre connection which has just recently being installed down our street for our internet, which runs at 120 mbs with unlimited data.

We host other professional lodgers or students who are very polite and friendly. We are all fairly busy doing our own things, either studying or working, so the house is quiet most of the time, which works well with us, however, we do get together during meal times for a chat.

These photos of the bedrooms are better to be seen with a viewing. We have a large garden which is lovely to sit out in with plenty of seating. We have a large dining room with a piano and 2 small sofas. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac, so there’s space to park your car. It would be approximately 15 minutes walk to York College or Tesco’s supermarket. Lidl is 0.3 miles away, around 7 minutes, if you were to walk.

There are numerous buses, including numbers 4, 44, 6 & 66 buses which take York university students to the uni and is a 2-3 minute walk away from our house to the bus stop. It takes approximately 10 minutes to get to York train station by bus and costs £16 per week or £50 per month. Students may get a discount.

For York university students you would need to take 2 buses to york uni, it only used to be one bus, but normally as soon as you get off the first bus the 2nd one turns up quickly, 45 mins in total, or 20 minutes by bike, 3.3 miles. We have space for bicycles in our back garden for you to store them.

We have local food stores and supermarkets nearby ranging from a 5 minute walk away to the local newsagents, 7 minutes to Lidl, and 18 minutes to Tesco.

We have Energise Sports Centre a couple of streets away and that is a 20 minute walk away.

We have a local doctors and dental surgery, which is in walking distance 0.5 miles and will take 10 minutes to walk there or we could drive you there, if needs be.
