After renting in york for 3 years, I've finally managed to acquire my own place and it ticks a lot of boxes for me, hopefully it will provide you with the perfect base from which to appreciate this beautiful city.

The house is a 2 bed terraced in a quiet cul-de-sac situated near Leeman Road, it's fairly compact but has everything that you would expect from such a property. The room is hopefully going to be available from mid-late september, following completion I am having the builders revamp the whole top floor, a new luxurious shower room will be installed, and your room will be fully redecorated. My ideal housemate would be a professional / mature student (25+) who is clean and tidy, smokers accepted (outside only) but sorry, no pets!

When you move in the room will be painted in white and I have no problems with you decorating as you see fit. The room can be provided furnished or unfurnished with possible negotiation on price dependent.

The river and the park are literally a stones throw away, 5-7 minutes into town and a similar distance to the station. Possible rent reduction if your are looking for a Mon-fri setup.

I work fairly normal office hours most of the time and enjoy going out on a weekend, mountain biking, walking and other such things, oh, and interesting people.
