King and double in beautiful cottage -2 for 1!

Two beautiful rooms to be let together in this thatched cottage.
The set-up. There are two large rooms, one has a king sized bed and the other a day bed than can pull out to a double. They are spacious, separate rooms, with there own doors, that also have an interconnected door between them. (Probably need to see it, to see what I mean!). Essentially, the cost is for both rooms, which would suit a couple. I’ve had lodgers in the past who’ve used the other room as a sitting room, or a room for occasional visitors and it could suit two friends who want a room each and don’t mind the interconnecting door, which can be locked. I wouldn’t let this to more than two people.

All bills included with a cleaner for communal rooms. You will have access to a large lounge as well as a large family bathroom with bath and separate power shower, also another separate loo all these are for use one other housemate only (see other ad).

Us. Friendly, sociable, live-in landlords, work away some of the time, and we also have our own rooms and space in the house, though the kitchen is shared by all.

The two rooms have, a king sized in one, with a wardrobe, drawers, a chair and a sofa and window seat overlooking the garden. The second room has the day bed, a chair, drawers a wardrobe with mirror. A desk or table can be added if required.

We can guarantee up to a 6 month let, then go month by month after that should you wish to stay longer. Please note the house ill be up for sale at some point in the near future, so you’d need to be OK with the occasional viewing (it won’t be many!) and we’d keep you informed.

Our home is a very beautiful, unique and spacious property. A grade two listed, thatched cottage of Northamptonshire stone. There’s a small, but pretty and sunny garden.

Though the kitchen is shared by all of us, and there’s plenty of space and a dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge is currently being done up, so may differ from the pics here, but has two large sofas, large dining table, freeview TV and coal effect gas fire.

There is no off road parking for this cottage, though there's a lay-by outside, to offload, and the village car park is just behind the cottage which is safe to park in with plenty of spaces.

There is broadband, but please be aware the walls are very thick and sometimes there are patchy areas in the cottage, both for phone signal and wifi. That said, I have to have Zoom meetings from home at times, and find it fine.

THE VILLAGE: Is great! Good access to A45, A509, A6. There's a local co-op, a curry house, fish and chip shop, several take aways, post office, chemist, library and a decent pub. Irchester Country Park is a pleasant walk via the churchyard and across a field.
