Large single room in shared home

We have a large airy room to rent in our home in West Bridgford. It is located on the top floor of a traditional Victorian house with a bathroom (with toilet and shower) shared with one other tenant.

The room has a single bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a desk with chair. You would have access to all of the shared rooms in the house: a large household kitchen/diner/sitting room, a second living room, downstairs bathroom, two utility rooms (one is the laundry in the cellar) and the garden. Rent includes utility bills and WiFi access.

The house is conveniently located just two minutes’ walk from central West Bridgford, with easy access to city centre (by the bus stop round the corner, or a 25 minutes' walk). It is a popular residential area, well served with cafes, bars and restaurants. There is a large park in one direction and the river just a couple of minutes' away on the other. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the railway station.

We are a friendly, community-minded household of different ages who enjoy catching up with each other each day in the large shared kitchen/eating/living space. My husband works in a school while I am a rather mature full-time PhD student, mostly working from home. We have shared our house with lodgers for the last six years. Currently a young female postgrad shares the house with us, occupying the second room on the top floor.

The room would ideally suit a professional or a postgraduate student new to the city.
