Large sunny double room (for single occupant) available Monday-Friday in an old 16th century cottage on Old Boars Hill. The house is in a lovely quiet, rural location and is full of character: exposed beams, stone floors, inglenook fireplace etc. Good access to A34 and A420 and 10 min drive to Oxford or Abingdon. Off-road parking. Excellent cycling and walking/running opportunities in the local area with many footpaths and areas of public land. The room is fully furnished with own TV. There are two shower rooms with toilets, one next door to the room and one downstairs with additional roll top bath. Shared use of two large living rooms (one with TV/DVD), kitchen and dining room. Garden is west facing and is a sun-trap from midday through to evening. Towels and bed linen can be provided (or you are welcome to use your own).Sharing with a couple, both academics. No pets currently but planning to get a couple of cats soon.
