We have one room vacant in our sociable, professional, mixed house share on Staunton Road, Headington, near JR, Brookes and Headington shops. Bus stops into town as well as to London and airports are in walking distance. There are five rooms in total.
The vacant room's on the first floor, has a sink, and fitted wardrobes and units.
On the ground floor we have a spacious living room, large kitchen with dining table, dishwasher and washing machine, large hall, WC, and storage cupboard. There is a bathroom (with shower/bath and WC) and a separate shower room on the first floor, and two more bedrooms. The house has a large garden/patio at the back perfect for BBQ as well as a garage where we keep our bikes, and a good size driveway.
The room's £424 pcm (including council tax, but no other bills) and will be free from 24th May. We share the bills and pay them as and when they arrive e. g. gas, electricity, water, TV licence, and wireless broadband, around £30 a month.
The house has been a really happy home for us for a number of years since we moved to Oxford. But now one of us has bought a house and two of us are moving in with him.
Two bedrooms (on the ground & second floor) will stay occupied by Luke and Chris, both non-smoking professional males. Luke works with an animal charity, and we sometimes have animals staying in the house, so animal lovers welcome. Luke also owns a cat who lives in the house. Chris works in marketing research, which has absolutely no further implications. There will be two new female housemates moving in around the same time, so we're looking for one more person, male or female, to move in.
We would ideally like to find someone sociable in their twenties, who is looking for a longer term home.
The room's not suitable for couples to move in.
The private landlord is nice and helpful and good at keeping in touch by email and text. He will need you to provide references and a deposit.
