Bright, recently redecorated single room

Hello! We are a friendly household of three looking to replace our fourth housemate for the summer from May to September. The room in question is a bright single room which was repainted and had new carpets put in in November 2013. (If you need a room for longer, there will be a big double room available in the house from August at £600/month)

The room comes fully furnished with an oak bed, a large oak wardrobe, a wooden chest of drawers and a bookshelf. Bedding, linen and towels can be provided too.

Downstairs there is a shared living room and kitchen, both of which have also been renovated. The living room has a victorian fireplace, vintage Bang&Olufsen record player and balcony which catches the sun through the day. We also have freeview TV. The good-sized kitchen is bright and has plenty of storage space, washing machine/dryer and a dishwasher. There are plenty of utensils and crockery for you to use too.

Our house is a maisonnette above a laundrette (useful for the giant dryers), an indian (weekly house takeaway) and a corner store that is open til 11pm every day and certainly comes in useful! There is a bus stop outside with routes to the town centre, Cowley and Marston, and we are within 5 mins walk from the Nuffield and Churchill Hospitals and 20 mins walk from the JR Hospital. Headington shops are 15 mins walk away, and there is a Co-op 10 mins away. There is nearby parking and iron bike stands downstairs.

You would be sharing with Matt, 23, engineer; Lilly, 24, OT student, and Stine, 27, PhD student. We often spend part of the evening together chatting, eating or watching telly. We are looking for a friendly person to join our happy house!
