Osney Island - best location in Oxford

A recently redecorated double bedroom is offered in a lovely house on Osney Island, close to town, rail, A34 and River Thames.
The well-known Punter gastro pub is just around the corner.
Since I will be away, we would like to rent out one bedroom for a period of one-three months starting with possible extension. My partner (and occasionally I) would stay in the other (guest) bedroom. We are both Hungarian/British double citizens.
The living room has a new multi-fuel stove, and the windows and door have been recently replaced and are now double glazed. All rooms are cozy and warm.
Bathroom, kitchen, living room, back garden would be shared between two.
Looking for someone who is tidy, independent, has daytime occupation and easy to live with.
If you like gardening, you could even use part of our allotment.
Car parking is only possible between 6:30pm and 8am at night with the exception of Sunday and public holidays.
